Why New York City Families Choose Virtual Lactation Support
New York City moms face unique challenges when it comes to breastfeeding support. Finding a last-minute appointment, navigating public transit with a newborn, or carving out time between feeding sessions — it's a lot. Virtual lactation consultations eliminate all of that.
Your Lactation Loop IBCLC joins you via secure video visit and observes a live feeding in real time — your actual nursing setup, your chair, your environment. You get expert guidance that fits your real life in New York City, not a generic clinic setting.
Our team speaks English, Spanish, and Russian — serving the diverse communities that make New York City what it is.
What We Help With
✔ Latch assessment via live observed feeding ✔ Milk supply evaluation and personalized plan ✔ Pumping guidance and flange sizing ✔ Nipple pain troubleshooting ✔ Tongue tie and lip tie discussion ✔ Returning to work planning — especially important for NYC working moms ✔ Prenatal breastfeeding preparation (28 weeks+) ✔ Weaning support ✔ Written care plan included after every visit
Appointments run 45–60 minutes.
Does Insurance Cover Virtual Lactation Visits in New York?
