Prenatal Breastfeeding Classes & Childbirth Education
Prepare Before Baby Arrives — With Expert IBCLC Guidance
The best time to prepare for breastfeeding is before your baby is born. New moms who take a prenatal breastfeeding class are more confident, more prepared, and more likely to meet their breastfeeding goals — and that's exactly what Lactation Loop's prenatal education offerings are designed to do.
Our classes and consultations are led by board-certified IBCLCs and licensed childbirth educators who specialize in helping expecting families feel ready for what's ahead. Whether you're a first-time mom or adding to your family, we meet you where you are — virtually, from the comfort of your own home.
Available to families across Michigan, Florida, Texas, New York, North Carolina, and Indiana.

Prenatal IBCLC Consultation
A private, one-on-one virtual consultation with a board-certified lactation consultant — completely customized to you.
This is not a class. This is personalized IBCLC care before your baby arrives. Your consultant will review your health history, discuss your breastfeeding goals, assess breast anatomy, help with flange sizing and pump selection, and answer every question you have — no matter how big or small.
If you have a history of breast surgery, PCOS, thyroid conditions, previous breastfeeding difficulties, or any other factor that may affect your milk supply, a prenatal IBCLC consultation is especially important.
Most major insurance plans cover prenatal lactation consultations under the Affordable Care Act — including Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, UMR, Meritain, and Wildflower. Contact us and we'll verify your benefits before you book.

Why Prenatal Education Matters
Research consistently shows that moms who prepare for breastfeeding before birth are more likely to initiate breastfeeding, nurse longer, and feel more confident in the early postpartum days. But preparation isn't just about reading articles or watching videos — it's about having a real conversation with a real expert who knows your situation.
At Lactation Loop, our prenatal classes and consultations are not one-size-fits-all. We take the time to understand your goals, your history, and your concerns — so that when your baby arrives, you're ready.
Questions? Call or text us at 941-254-2502. We're available Monday through Sunday, 9am–8pm.
