Who are the Booby Babes?
The Booby Babes are support groups offered in a variety of settings. Currently we have groups virtually and in person. They are hosted by members of our staff or someone closely integrated with a staff member. The intent of these groups are to support mothers during their pregnant or postpartum journey. We culturally live in a time where information is overload! Let us help you make sense of it all. As your baby grows there are new topics and things to learn along the way. It is also common for mothers to feel isolated and alone during this time. So much attention is placed on pregnancy and soon thereafter many expectations about motherhood and caring for a child can change and feel overwhelming. Mothers simply need reassurance their feelings an thoughts are normal and if things take a turn to the unknown you will have a safe non-judge mental place to share, learn and grow as a new parent! A professional baby weigh scale is available as needed.
What to Expect at a Booby Babes Group
Each group is led by a Lactation Loop IBCLC or a closely integrated team member. Sessions are relaxed, judgment-free, and designed to meet you wherever you are in your journey — whether you're expecting, days postpartum, or months into breastfeeding.
Topics covered in our groups include:
Newborn feeding and latch basics
Milk supply questions and pumping tips
Introducing solids and weaning
Sleep, routines, and postpartum recovery
Returning to work while breastfeeding
Emotional support and community connection
A professional baby scale is available at in-person groups for weighted feedings.
Who Are These Groups For?
Any pregnant or postpartum mom! Whether you're breastfeeding, exclusively pumping, combo feeding, or just figuring it out — you belong here. Partners and support people are always welcome too.
Virtual Groups Can't make it in person? Our virtual groups are open to families across all six states — Michigan, Florida, Texas, New York, North Carolina, and Indiana. Join from your couch, your car, wherever you are.
