In-Office Visit — Three Southeast Michigan Locations For families who prefer hands-on, in-person support — including weighted feedings — our three Southeast Michigan offices are worth the trip. Many Northern Michigan families combine an in-office lactation visit with a downstate trip for other errands or appointments.

Virtual appointments run 45–60 minutes. In-office appointments run 90 minutes.
Does Insurance Cover Lactation Visits for Traverse City Families?
Yes — most commercial insurance plans are required to cover lactation services under the Affordable Care Act, including both virtual and in-office visits. Because Lactation Loop's insurance contracts are national, your coverage applies anywhere in Michigan.
We accept Aetna, Cigna PPO, UnitedHealthcare (UHC), UMR PPO, Meritain, Anthem, Wildflower, Lactation Network, and Curative. Most Traverse City families pay $0 out of pocket.
