If you have BCBS, Anthem or Florida Blue insurance and you're looking for breastfeeding support, you may be wondering whether your visits with a lactation consultant are covered. The good news is — they likely are!

Does BCBS, Anthem and Florida Blue Lactation Consultants?

Under the Affordable Care Act, most commercial insurance plans including BCBS, Anthem and Florida Blue are required to cover lactation support services at no cost to you. This includes visits with an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

Does Lactation Loop Accept Curative Insurance?

In most cases, yes — Lactation Loop works with most Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plans, along with Anthem and Florida Blue, for in-home, in-office, and virtual visits in FL, MI, TX, IN, NY, NC, and AZ.
